Another Evening Stroll

I’m in love with Portland. That much can be said without much hesitation. The weather is enjoyable, the greenery is breathtaking, and the people are so friendly. It’s really feeling like I’ve made it home.

Our pup seems to enjoy it here as well. We both enjoy evening walks. We aren’t quite used to the sun going down at 9pm at this time of year, but it makes for more time to explore. We come across so many interesting and beautiful things just minutes from where we live.

One of my favorite things this spring (since I guess it isn’t really summer yet) has been watching the hydrangeas bloom. Up until a month ago I hadn’t actually seen hydrangeas in real life before (at least that I could remember/appreciate). They are so lovely, and as much as I have wanted to pick them to decorate with, I actually really enjoy walking past them in their natural state. They probably wouldn’t even look as nice in a vase.

I also need to mention my new sweater. I’ve been on the hunt for some new things, and when I found this sweater from Loft I was so excited. I love simple sweaters for casual and comfortable wear, but I’m never looking for boring. The buttons that run down the back are the perfect added touch.
