Embrace It
Yesterday was my chance to dive head first into cooler weather, and you bet I embraced it! Morning rains meant the temperatures stayed in the 60s all day long. I pulled out every new item for fall and put them all into one outfit. This is my only chance until the weather cools down for real!
To start, these boots are at the top of my list of things I want to be able to wear all the time. I bought them in the Nordstrom Sale back in July (they were almost half price at that point!), and I didn’t think I’d get to wear them this soon. I hope to be able to wear them for many weekend outfits this fall and winter, but I won’t be wearing them to work, since there is no chance I’m going to let them get too damaged.
The vest I got back during the labor day sales, and the top and hat are brand new. Everything in this outfit is being worn for the first time, except the leggings I got from Ann Taylor last year. If Ann Taylor has similar ones for sale this year, I’d jump on them. I wore these traveling to and from Germany last winter, and I couldn’t ask for more comfortable yet sturdy pants to wear on a plane.
It is supposed to warm up again in the next couple days, so I won’t be quite as dressed for fall for a while more, but it was fun to take everything for its first spin on this beautiful day. I really need to get myself to a place that is in the 60s for more than just a day at a time.
