Hi! I’m Cindy and I always need to have a plan. Does life always work out according to plan? Nope, but a girl can try, right?
Here at classicsidewalk, I share how planning helps me get through life and give you tips how you can try to organize yours as well. My favorite planning tool is my bullet journal. It lets me keep track of the day to day and plan exciting adventures both at home and abroad.
I’m also a girl with many interests beyond exploring my new home of Portland, OR and sharing my planning tips. I’m a serial hobbyist, an engineer, and a bit of a fashion fan. I strive to show that having many interests is okay and that you never need to apologize for or feel guilty over something you enjoy. There is enough room for all your passions if you make a plan.
Classicsidewalk is a concept that has been with me for a long time. The name comes from my pursuit of a classic and timeless style that I can take with me everywhere I go, i.e. classic style on any sidewalk. I started out thinking just about the clothes I wear, but over time classicsidewalk has become a lot more to me. It’s a reminder to live unapologetically true to myself no matter where I am or whom I’m with. It’s a reminder that I don’t have to follow along with something just because it’s popular or because it will get me more favor or attention. If it isn’t me, it isn’t worth it.
